The Mukim Lumapas Consultative Council organised the Mukim Lumapas Family Day celebration at Lumapas Primary School, 14th June morning. Organised with the cooperation of Kampung Consultative Councils under Mukim Lumapas, Parents Teachers Association and teachers of said school, the event instilled the spirit of solidarity and encourage a healthy lifestyle through family and community activities.

It was officiated by Awang Abdul Walib bin Haji Matasan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District, Ministry of Home Affairs. Various activities have been lined up including sports and recreational activities, traditional games, and stalls run by local vendors. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, and Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad Ali bin Tanjong, Members of the Legislative Council.
